Held in beautiful Madeira Beach Florida, twice every year in the Fall & Spring, the King of the Beach Kingfish Tournament is host to competitive fishing teams from the S.E. United States and beyond.

With 30 mile boundaries, 6 divisions, 63 paid places and two rich TWT’s the King offers competitive opportunities for anglers across the spectrum.
The King is a 3 day event starting with the Captains Meeting & on-site registration on Thursday, a waterfront party on Friday and tournament fishing, weigh-in and awards on Saturday.

Old SaltOrganizer of King of the Beach Kingfish TournamentOld Salt Fishing Foundation is a 45-year-old, not for profit, fishing organization headquartered in Madeira Beach, FL. The Foundation serves anglers with a variety of youth & family programs, competitive fishing tournaments and angler advocacy efforts. The Foundation operates with an all-volunteer staff and board of directors. Over the past 10 years, Old Salt has delivered fishing, tournament, conservation and education programs & opportunities for tens of thousands of anglers all while donating in excess of $1 million dollars to deserving regional charities. Mission Our Mission... To support family interaction & camaraderie through sport fishing for recreation, science, conservation and education. Ultimately we focus on community service efforts and provide financial support to various local nonprofit organizations.

Sailing North on the ICW from John’s Pass, we are located a half mile North from Green Marker #9.
Sailing South on the ICW, we are located on the South side of the Tom Stuart Causeway, Route 666 as you come under the bridge, veer to the West. Our fuel dock is just beyond the covered docks.
