LIVETARGET solidifies inventory before current and escalating industry-wide shortage
Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ont. (February 25, 2020) – The fishing market quickly fell victim to the Coronavirus outbreak in China and the illness’ greater effect on global supply chains. Chinese authorities have imposed travel restrictions in many jurisdictions. Ultimately, this will impact production and delivery of products manufactured in China and may leave dealers inventories compromised for the 2020 fishing season and beyond.
Many production factories are currently on standby, waiting for word from their municipal governments to announce that it is safe to return to work.
Fortunately for anglers and the North American market, LIVETARGET built its 2020 inventory prior to the Chinese New Year and January outbreak, and is fully stocked for the remainder of the season and beyond. LIVETARGET advanced production timelines this year, and it was this acceleration that lead to early stocking. As challenging as that was, this proactive action has LIVETARGET in a strong position to assist their valued customers, should they experience shortages from other brands.
We will continue to ship on a first-come-first-serve basis and encourage you to take advantage of our healthy inventory levels for the remainder of the season.
We thank everyone for their continued support of LIVETARGET.
